Update: No luck on the 10% but they said they'll price match a lower price on their site if it's within 15 days of delivery. Well see what happens next month but I went ahead and got one.

I have the 2022 version of this, but yes, Disney+ and Amazon for sure both push through Dolby Atmos and/or other 5.1 audio. Watching action movies like Top Gun Maverick, Marvel, etc., you get a pretty good audio bounces off the ceiling too, to give you that elevated effect. Certainly not as good as a true ceiling speaker Dolby Atmos setup, but that's not always practical of wife approved.

Q990D is actually very very good.
Had a previous model(circa 2019) and would sometimes have the issue you describe on Low volume.
Not so with this model...throughout all volume levels very good clarity even in wide open floorplan with tall/vaulted ceilings .
