love this soundbar. got it for $650 including a 4TB 990 pro ssd.

best speaker system i've ever owned. i went to listen to some $1300-$2500 speakers at nebraska furniture mart in a 2.1 arrangement recently. speakers there were obviously better, but they were LESS BETTER than i expected for the price compared to the $650 i paid for the 990d.

value per dollar spent on this setup is spectacular.

I have the Q990D and have never experienced that problem. However, I'm in a small living room probably sitting less than 10 feet from the soundbar. But the room does have 10 foot ceilings. Both have a dialogue enhancer mode. I've never had a need to use it. Maybe consider turning it on yours.

Do you have the rear speakers behind you? My couch is against a wall I'm wondering if the rear speakers will work at the side vs behind me?

I think Q990F and Q900F have the same sound bar, but this deal is for the Q990D, Samsung made some changes to the bar going from D to F
