I have some from 2012 and some from 2022, they seem the same.

Are these more like enhanced perchy paper towels, or more like fabric like common cleaning towels made of polyester/cotton? How are these any different from the White ones that are 0.98 a roll? Thanks
These hold a lot more liquid, and they are much tougher and thicker. You can actually throw them in the washer and the dryer and they come out clean and untorn. I haven't done that on purpose but I've left enough of them in my pockets and they come out usable again every time😂

If you have a Menards near you, this looks to be a slightly better deal per sheet (same size as HD) when considering the in-store 11% rebate: https://www.menards.com/main/tool...?exp=false

How do these compare to Viva's original cloth like paper towels? Those are my favorites and in my opinion, significantly better than other paper towels you find in stores like Target.

I bought a couple of rolls at my local Oreilly like a week ago since I didn't want to drive to my storage unit to pickup more from my costco stash. Let me tell you... they are NOT the same now.
The old stock I have from costco has a much thicker and softer texture than the new roll I purchased from Oreilly. Old ones are thicker and softer material, the new roll was thinner and much rougher material. New ones were also a darker color vs the prior ones.
I was doing an oil change on my wife's car and I also realized the new ones were basically a failure as far as absorbency too! I was VERY disappointed in the new ones that's for sure.
So 2 possibilities here... Oreilly gets a different product with the same name on it, or Scott changed the quality of the product. Either way it sucks.
I agree. They seem to have fewer sheets per roll and maybe the size changed (like downsizing). I don't have any old ones to compare them to. I can tell you one thing for sure, walmart had their brand on sale and I tried them and hated them. They were more plastic like and not as absorbent. I use them for oil stain cleanup after the rag wipe. Of course like everything else they got more expensive, but this seems like a decent deal.

For anyone who cares, Walmart has a 6 pack of these for $12.48 + $3 Walmart cash.

Walmart also has a 2-pack for $4.67, with $1.50 Walmart cash. A bit more per roll, but maybe a way to try them out (?)

I have a bunch of these from several years ago, curious if any recent purchasers who've used these over a long period of time can confirm these are still the same quality (I'm finding many things aren't).
They're still strong paper towels. Don't overthink it, just buy, you'll use them eventually. That's what I tell myself.

I use both. I wouldn't want to use these as napkins but they're tougher and thicker than Viva. These are heavier-duty than Viva, Bounty, Brawny, what have you. You can use cheap paper towels in the garage or whatever, but you'll be slightly more annoyed cleaning up your assorted messes and use enough that you aren't saving anything compared to going with these.

These towels are great. They're much tougher than regular paper towels and don't leave remnants behind. I usually get them a WallyWorld.

According to pricetracker, these have been this price since June 3rd, what's the deal with +50 upvotes and being front page? I find it hard to believe this website sometimes.

Walmart near me has the 2-packs marked down to $2.50. I've been stocking up.

both work out to being $1.89 per roll.Costco sells 10 for $19.99 ($1.99/roll) but price can vary in warehouse. This is a good buy for HD as it is much more accessible than warehouses.
My Costco is $17.79 for 10.

Same quality about the same $ but the rolls got smaller a couple years ago.
