Had the previous generation and used/abused it daily for years until I lost it. Loved that thing. Definitely buying this.

I have both versions. Imho, the previous version was better tool. This one is bulkier, heavier, and less flexible since it's the double-sided bits.

My only apprehension was the bit holder. Is it usable with standard bits or does it only work with those stupid long ones?

I had the old version too and bought this new version on their last sale. The old version is much better. Dont know why they changed it.

$8.98 for me... in for one. I like the long bits, better clearance for deep recessed fasteners.

Hm think I'd go with the kne with the storage in the handle. The flex attachment thing you could buy separately somewhere else if it's a must.

I probably have a dozen of various versions of this thing laying around the house. Very solid and versatile screw driver for its price.
As for the bits, i actually prefer it with the longer ones. You don't lose them as easily, or end up poaching one for use in another tool because you are lazy and forget to put it back.
All of my ones of the older models are missing at least a few of their bits, while all of the newer models still have everything.

No this kills the whole point.. the OP posted a double drive screwdriver which lets you screw twice as fast since you never need to do the clock ratchet thing. It's one of those things where once you try it you wish all screwdrivers did it. It's way better than a ratcheting screwdriver

Anyone have a model number for the favorable older version that keeps getting mentioned in the comments? I check my Lowes back aisle weekly and just picked up a single Kobalt double drive for <$5 that must have been kicked under a rack in a far corner of the store for a few years. It's not the same design as the one in this post.
