None of these lowe's links work on my phone. All the others do, but for some reason
Lowe's does not.

There is plenty of value here at the price, but be cautious with the case design. Lots of people complain about the trays of sockets being very easy to fall out. I have a lot of Kobalt tools (mostly the 24v max line) and I think they offer good performance for the price, but I went a different direction for my mechanics set because of the tray design and the problems I've read about it. If you have time, I'm pretty sure Project Farm has a video that includes this set (or one very similar) and it fared pretty poorly.

Still, thumbs up for value, and I think if you're just leaving your tool set stationary and not moving it around, you'll never have an issue with the trays.

Make sure your app is up to date. I used to have this issue regularly. What I had to do before whatever the most recent update was to open the Lowe's app first and then click the link. I am on the Android app for what it's worth. If you're having an issue with the iOS app I don't have any advice. Having the app open first did solve my issue for Android, though.

Since you brought it up, is it just me, or is Lowe's plummeting in customer service and value? I ordered some fence panels over the summer that were delivered about 8 hours late and the driver was apparently in a hurry due to another driver not showing up and he grabbed the panels wrong with the forks and broke several of the slats. Customer service wanted me to bring them back to the store? I told the lady if I had a truck to bring them back up there, I wouldn't need them delivered in the first place and I just needed to replace the broken slats. She said that wasn't possible and offered a $10 discount on my next purchase. I left feedback on the stellar customer service and there was a cornucopia of complaints about delivery issues that customer service just essentially solved with giving the number one finger to the customer. They used to be my goto hardware store as they're more convenient to our home but I've found myself going to Home Depot more lately as I don't get hit by vendors soliciting sales as soon as I walk in the door at HD. I didn't know if it was just a local thing or if others are having the same problem.

I'm on iOS and I think it's the same solution. The iOS app sucks though. The website completely outperforms the app

I've personally had better luck with Husky but it's been a while since I've purchased actual Kobalt mechanical tools. I've had good luck with Kobalt gardening tools however. I guess most of it is made in China anymore and they likely just stick whatever brand it is for the day on whatever product so it's hit or miss, but there's nothing worse than putting some muscle behind a ratchet and it just flat out giving out and driving your knuckles into the sharpest object in the immediate vicinity.

I got this 3 weeks ago since it's not a flip over like my harbor freight set that I've had 3 years. I don't think it's worth it, the rachet doesn't work after several uses, the deep sockets aren't truly deep sockets and more than half the set are just bits repeated over and over... Buy a harbor freight or craftsman if on a budget, plus I've read up they don't bother on replacing tools for you if a set is out..

Got this 3 weeks ago and rachet gave out on the first 10 minutes of use... Don't get this. I'll be sticking with my harbor freight which I've had for 3 years. Only got this because it was compact and doesn't open up in half like the HF set but the quality of the tools and bits is questionable.

Anyone remember getting this for $35 several years ago due to a pricing error?
