These are cool, but 50oz of water seems far too small for anything practical outside.

1oz of water 😄 you meant 50 right. This works for me if I have someplace to refill halfway or midday and I don't want to carry 3L of water the whole day.

This pack is super slim that you can even fit it inside your jacket on super cold days. However, it does not really have extra space or pockets for other items specially when the bladder is full.
