Here is what I am trying to understand, not asking you to answer. Just thinking out loud. How are people even able to do that? I'm thinking that steaming an item would take at least a few minutes and be very obvious. Are they carrying tiny, portable steamers? So many questions. It would seem like that would draw someone's attention. Obviously there is a way to tamper with some cards but that is crazy. If only they could use those skills for good.

As long as you had the men's one, because the the women's one at that price doesn't attach to the dq, it should have worked. If you decide to try the deal again, scan the 2 Degree, hit total or have the cashier hit total to make sure the $3/2 dq comes off. If it does, then scan the 2 CRTs and see what happens.

I know in the past, people would take unpurchased gift cards from a store, do with them what they will and then return them to the store for someone to purchase.

I looked at one of the ones I have purchased but not used and cannot see a way someone could steam these and then make them look good enough for them to be purchased.

FYI for the spend $100, get $20 gift card deal--My store had some regular store cards included in this, such as Lowes, Panera, Apleebees and Bath & Body Works. Did not personally do it though.

LOL, tiny portable steamers!

There's nothing illegal about removing blank GCs from the store, they could easily take them home and then bring them back & put them on the display.

But I have no personal knowledge, and agree about using skills for something not illegal!!

Your $3/2 dq did not come off, so hoping you still have it. Next week the deal is a little better than this week. Buy 2 get $5 ECB and the Men's cheap Cool Rush is included according to the ad.

Thanks. I have a plan for today and I have to get Degree in order for it to work. My plan on Tuesday didn't work so I'm going for round 2 today.

My deal worked perfectly. I got the Degree women's spray deo this time. I needed to get to $20 to use my $20 EB from the gift card deal and the more expensive deo got me there. My deal was 2 Degree's, 3 Eucerin's, and 2 Colgate's. I paid slightly less than $20 after coupons and crt's and earned $19 EB. I read that there's a $4 Fetch offer on 2 Degree's. The internet is going crazy over Fetch right now.

The gift card is an ongoing problem. I got the first one to work but I keep on getting an error message that it's unable to process on the second one. I would avoid this deal.

Try opening in a private window. That works for me. Or try from your phone using data not wifi.

The good thing is that I still have the $100 available. The bad news is that it doesn't want to load to the digital card so that I can use it. I've tried 6 browsers, 3 phones, incognito, and standing one leg while drinking a Pepsi and they've all failed. I'm ok as long as the $100 is still there. I have confidence that at some point it's going to work. It shouldn't be like this but there's not much that I can do about it.
