I bought a bunch of these new for my office. They seem pretty decent. FYI I would bet the bulk of these that were returned were due to some light bleed issue. I found that the displays weren't fully seated together on the ones I ordered. If you close the laptop and look near the hinge you can see it's bulging a bit. squeezing the display a bit will click it together and then the display will look perfect.
