Great deal. If you can find a date for $149. I looked all over the calendar for the Manteca, CA location And cannot find anything near $149. The cheapest was about $279.

As usual I find the dates eligible for the deal are few and far between. Probably really a midweek promo, when essentially no one would otherwise be there.,

I was able to book a one night stay for premium loft suite w/balcony for $201 all in for 3 adults. Granted it is a mid-week booking but I still feel like I finally got a decent deal on a GW promo. Thanks and repped!

Great, thanks! I was able to update my current reservation from a previous deal that wasn't as good to get the Family Cabin Suite for $159.

I looked to cancel my current request, but was going to cost money for the cancellation, but did chat from their site with CS rep and explained how I wanted to upgrade with current deal. No issues, done in 5 minutes.

Basically everything else is paid. I've been to 4 GWL and a Kalahari. They all operate the same way more or less. The water park is free (included with the stay) up to a certain number of wrist bands/entries. Food is on the expensive side but hey, it's a theme park it's what you get.

Outside the water park are usually arcades and such. Each GWL I've been to also has a Magic Quest (need a (paid) wand to participate), shops (trinkets), and mini golf, ropes course, etc, all paid. GWL also usually offers some activities in the lobby - music parties, crafts, etc.

So yeah the main activity is the water park and for the most part everything else is paid.

For our kids we usually go on a weekend night - you have use of the water park the ENTIRE day on check in and check out, and we find 2 ish days of the water park is more than enough.

Regarding the Chase 10%, do you know when the credit card actually gets charged? My Chase promo ends Oct 31, so wondering if the CC doesn't get charged before that, you probably don't get the Chase benefit?

I booked a 2-night stay a few weeks ago, and they charged half at the time of booking. The other half is charged either at check in or check out.

Yes they typically have a deposit. The last reservation we had, they took ~ 80% deposit on the day of reservation (it wasn't an even number so chances are it's not a flat % but instead flat fees) - 5/2/25, then the balance on 5/11 which was our check out date (which was a Sunday).

In Orange County, CA, Disneyland is a couple miles away.
