FWIW, Issey Miyake has been one of my favorite scents for over two decades. So, I tried the Intense (blind buy), and absolutely hated it.

It's a weird one to describe. Pros are, longevity ... it lasts all day, and then some. But for this particular fragrance, that was also a con for me.

It smells nothing like signature Issey Miyake, if that's what you're going for. You can smell the alcohol. It does smell Intense, so the name is accurate, but it also just smells cheap. With signature Issey, you can smell the lemon notes ... it has a warm, honey-like smell. This reminds me a lot of the Adidas fragrance that came to market in the 00s.

My guess would be, they see the name, the price and volume and think, "good deal." Which it is, if you genuinely like the scent, but trust me - there's a reason it's being cleared out for $22.
