Wild. 39s were discontinued 2 full years ago. Surprised they're still on the shelves even at the outlets

Probably not the target audience, but I don't like Pegasus that much. I had the 39s from a few years ago, and the cushion was already just okay OOTB, after usage it was pretty flat. The mesh is also pretty weak and has torn on the sides, but that's OK. I'm fairly casual and run only a few miles every week.

They don't have any spring in my step cushion or ultra plush cushion like some other shoes, the only thing I can really commend these for are the good grip on the bottom and sizing. Not sure if Nike thoroughly redesigned these since then, but it seems unlikely. I would recommend another brand like NB, Brooks, Asics, etc unless you have used and liked these in the past. (ex: 1080 or Rebel from NB)

I think if this was cheaper, say around 60-70, it would be a slickdeal.

Subjective. I love the Pegasus.

I agree, comparatively, they're not that great, but nice look, trustworthy from the branding perspective. I use them for combined walking/running for traveling, but at their price points, there are much much better.

A bit expensive at this price. They typically dip down to $50-70 on Nike's own site when they run sales on them. Love the Pegs not as much for running, but jogging with the dogs, gym, etc. Great cw though..

I used to, they transitioned more into a heel strike shoe and have kept the line pretty drab compared to the cushion and energy return some other lines are getting.

Sales on these aren't what they used to be. There isn't a single thread on peg's going under $80 this year.

For $80 you can get some cool adidas or saucony models. I love the Boston 12s that have been on sale, or even the SL2s as replacements. For the price, this is meh.

2025 is the first year I haven't purchased a pair of peg's in 15 years.
