I own one, don't bother. It randomly mows in odd patterns and requires the placement of a guide wire around your perimeter. The blades are literally razor blades from a razor.

Their push lawnmower uses those same blades and doesn't have a problem cutting

I've had it for about a year, and overall I like it. It does have several drawbacks, though. Two major ones are that the boundary wire needs frequent attention (I've gotten pretty good at fixing it now), and the initial installation requires a lot of effort—especially for my 1/4-acre yard. Another downside is that it mows in a random pattern, so the lawn doesn't always look great. Still, it definitely gets the job done when it's working and saves me a lot of time.

This price is not the best though. I bought the 1/2 acre version at $500 last year.

Do not get one with guide wires in 2025. I've had this for 3 years and finally just replaced it with an Anthbot and it's leaps and bounds better for only a few hundred bucks more.

Actually...it looks like all of them are on sale. The half acre looks to be at $552 after the coupon.

I bought OB 1/2 acre during spring, and disagree. Looking to buy another. Is it perfect? No. But I haven't cut the front lawn all year. Huge time saver. Need to have an ideal lawn though: flat w/o a lot of obstacles. Does require initial time investment to run the wire. I did buy upgraded wire and have had no issues with boundary wire.
Cuts every day, so doesn't need a giant blade.
