This is a great price for this quality tool which is usually well north of $100 dollars, currently it is $150 on Amazon. I found 6 of these at my local Lowe's store (45324) in "The Back Aisle". There are other popular brands like Ideal and Klein but Fluke is known brand amongst the industry. MSRP on Fluke's site is $164.31.

This is an invaluable tool for troubleshooting cabling and wiring for phone and network issues.

An area of the store called 'the back aisle', typically in the back of the store, or the side of the store near the back. It's their clearance area...usually there is a yellow banner with black text stating 'the back aisle' hanging up in the store. Fairly common thing in the dozen or so Lowe's stores that I have visited it the South Western part of Ohio. I made this distinction in the post because these were not found in the low voltage/networking tools area, electrical department, or general tools area of the store. Typically they would be in the low voltage/networking tools area near the electrical department.

This tool is super useful.

I have a 20 year old unit, works tracing any wires through walls or auto cable harnesses .

Once you master 'riding the gain' on the volume knob, you will be able to trace anything.

Easily. You can find the proper wire in a bundle. I pulled the proper wire out of a bundle of romex in an attic by sending a tone thru it.
