You dont compare energizer to these... i have 4 batteries that i have been recharging for my xbox for the past 4 years. Still working great. I trust their 2100 recharge times.

Now THIS is an Awesome SlickDeal price for Eneloops.

Too bad they're for the AAA battery size but still an awesome price when below $2 a battery.

This should be front page for those looking to build up their Eneloop inventory...but again, only for those in need of AAA size.

I'm just happy we're seeing Eneloops below $2 - there is hope someday soon for the AA prices to come down to this level of SlickDeal Awesomeness pricing

There were two deals for AA Eneloop in the last week. Lucky I got one, I was also waiting for quite some time to get it.

How do we know if they are not counterfeit?

My old Eneloops are finally giving out.

I have some good laada ones from IKEA, and a bunch of crappy Energizer and Duracell.

I'd prefer to have real Japanese eneloops!

Be prepared to enjoy many...many more years of great service from those eneloops. I have a few sets of the original eneloops that came out back in 2005 that I bought when I worked at Circuit City (So of course I bought all the new cool stuff since we bought it at cost). So I literally bought them when they were initially released onto store shelves. I still have some of those original batteries rolling around in TV remotes and stuff. Yep 20 year old batteries and still working.
Just yesterday I was a Walmart getting some oil for my car... I happened to walk by a battery station at Walmart and I was shocked by the prices of Alkaline batteries. So I said to my wife "daaang is that what batteries cost nowadays" so my wife says "I don't know... I don't remember the last time I bought batteries" then I realized its true... we haven't bought alkalines in decades at my house now.
