How do any of us survive...you can have cavities and plaque build up in your teeth OR 375 other listed medical conditions from PFAS.

This dental floss does not have PFAs. Oral B reformulated their floss. Beginning this year, it is not legal to sell many consumer products, including dental floss, in California with PFAs.

Since the reformulation this is yuck.

What's everyone's thoughts on what should take it's place?

I like Reach Ultraclean and drTung's Smart floss although it's a little pricey.

I switched to the Listerine Ultra Clean Shred-Resistant floss.

The spools of floss fit into my old Oral-B Glide refillable tube. The floss has a little bit of stretch to it and makes it a little easier to get in-between tighter teeth similar to how the Glide felt.

Are you sure about that? Pretty sure Newsom just vetoed the bill that would've phased PFAS out of many products.

Hello,

Thanks for everyone for bringing up the PFAS issue. Not sure about the accuracy and timeline of AI reviews but this is the info that I gathered.

Quote,

"Yes, studies have found that Oral-B Glide dental floss, including the Scope flavor, contains PFAS chemicals. Research has linked its use to higher levels of these chemicals in the body, and the floss is known to be made with PTFE (Teflon), a type of PFAS.
A 2019 study found that women who flossed with Oral-B Glide had higher levels of a specific PFAS in their blood.
The floss is manufactured using PTFE (Teflon), a common PFAS chemical.
The presence of fluorine in the floss indicates the presence of PFAS compounds.
PFAS chemicals are associated with potential health risks, such as harm to the immune system, liver damage, and developmental issues. "

You have no idea what you're talking about. Oral B reformulated all their floss. Try doing some research instead of regurgitating your PFAS nonsense.
