That's more in the oral form because it works by widening blood vessels. The topical has less of those side effects because it's absorbed directly into the scalp. It is extremely toxic to cats though. So make sure to not get any on your cats.

If you really need some now this isn't a bad deal.
2-3 times a year Costco puts their 6 pack on sale and it comes out to around $3 per bottle after shipping.
I know they did it last year on Black Friday and again around Memorial Day of this year.

They usually stock it in the stores whenever it is on sale. But if it is not on sale, they don't seem to sell it in the stores (at least not the ones here, they do sell the foam one but it is far more expensive). I stock up on about two boxes whenever they get it in the stores. Honestly it's kind of odd that they don't sell this in the stores on a regular basis...

That may have been the last time it was on sale. It's a bit annoying. I'm just about out from the last time they sold it (can't remember when I bought it) and what I'm using now actually expired a few months ago.
