it has been lower in the past. i bought it bundled with a battery for this price. but with the tariffs in place now, this is as low as you're going to get. don't forget that milwaukee is a chinese company and they along with sister companies are impacted by tariffs the most

I've never seen tool only below $214

Bought it as it seems sale price is around the $215 mark. Before it was $299 with like a battery, but yeah... I believe these are already in the USA so no worry about FedEx or UPS charging you duties (compared to if it was an international package).

If these end up shipping with the original socket adapters that can end up pulling out along with socket removal, you can request the updated socket adapter that locks into place from Milwaukee with proof of purchase.

it was $200 at clark's tools, the free 5ah high output battery was a rebate through milwaukee. it wasn't dedicated thread just for the tool. there were a bunch of tools with rebates.

are you like ok in the head? you think the tool just spontaneously appears out of nowhere? everything you are buying now already have the tariffs already baked in the price. if you are buying the item in the US, then the company selling it it you has already paid the tariff and passing some or all of it to you.

Anyone know if this is the new version with locking mechanism on the back of the anvil so it won't come off whenever we change sockets?

That's not how it works considering it's already in the United States... All your comment shows is that you're unstable.

Regardless of where it IS, if the parts come from a tariff affected country the cost of the item will rise, IE a thing may never be as cheap again, which was the point of the post you contradicted. You were talking about apples in response to a post about oranges (tariffs on direct shipments vs tariffs affecting cost in a more general sense).

If the sale price of these is $215 how exactly was the tariff price passed on to us? When has it been cheaper pre-tarrifs? Answer that.
