I have similarly designed (various smaller) rechargeable motion lights I've stuck in a shower and under some cabinets. Main complaint is how frequently they need to be recharged

There's use cases that make sense, but a niche to be sure. An overhead light in a closet, for example, provided the idle time between changes is really long.
