Coupon also works for non-barebones variants. $659 with 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD.

Just a heads up in case it's relevant. My F2A (Intel based) has an issue where the fan will randomly spool up to 100% indefinitely during idle regardless of load/temps. I'm not sure if the F3A has the same issue or not, but I would at the very least look into known issues before purchasing this.

I've tried the different BIOS revisions that "fix" the issue to no avail. I also reached out to Support about it, which was seemingly ignored. The only fix I can confirm works, albeit only temporarily, is to artificial create a load on the cpu (e.g. cpu stress test) and then immediately cancel it once the fan speed fixes itself and drops down to normal. Sometimes it fixes it for days, sometimes only minutes. I use headphones most of the time so the loudness of the fan doesn't bother me too much, but the unnecessary wear and tear on the fan is not ideal.

I have the F3A with 32GB 1TB and love it. I did have one random shut down last month but it has run continuously for two months now with no issues.

Did you try using SpeedFan, FanControl, or another piece of software to just calibrate fan curves?

I use Linux. The fan sensors aren't readable by fan control or lm-sensors so the kernel likely doesn't support the sensors on this model.

Wait what? How did they do that? I thought the RAM was soldered on the SoC.
