Would this cut a 1/8th inch thick plastic table protector cleanly. Been looking for a solution to cut it to exact size be unsure what to use.

Yeah but this one is usb c, that to me is huge W. I'll definitely lose a proprietary cable / charger.

These are not that accurate. A straight edge and a razor blade of some sort would probably be better. These are more useful for a safer way to break down boxes. I bought one a worx one a while back but I found it too slow. My savage ways of ripping boxes apart combined with the box cutter is easily 5x faster than one of these.

For the plastic table I wonder if doing several scoring cuts would be best instead (with a box cutter or similar, or maybe there's a specialized plastic scoring knife)

The boxblayde is like $80 on sale but works so much better than these rotary style cutters. Definitely a bit of a splurge but it actually makes cutting up boxes enjoyable

Got my BoxBlayde off the kickstarter and it is still going strong. Use serrated razor blades with it and it cuts even better.
