Why would anyone use this when Bitwarden is free?

I do not know why someone would need anything else than Bitwarden

Use this link (the first link in my post):

https://start.1password.com/sign-...ly?c=CANVA

Also note that this is for new accounts only (I've added this limitation to my post).

I have been using dashlane for several years and hate it. It saves PWs in doubles and triples and doesn't save new PWs consistently and across all my devices. So even if i hsve 3 PWs for the same site none are correct. i may give this a try

Maybe Slickdeals click tracking and redirection is causing problems. Make sure ?c=CANVA is at the end of the URL.

EDIT: That is indeed the problem. Copy and paste this URL into your browser's URL bar to get the deal:
https://start.1password.com/sign-up/family?c=CANVA

Bitwarden is not free for family plans with OTP. Stop spreading misinformation. Plus 1Password is far superior in almost every way.

Source: ex-BW user and I also hosted my own via vaultwarden.

I am using bitwarden, what is the major benefits of 1password? I don't care to pay, more concerned on the convenience and security

I was going to pay for it with the US Bank triple cash business card which would have reimbursed the cost of this anyways, but free is free & I'll take it! I've done a fair bit of comparison and found 1password to be the perfect balance among the options out there. Bitwarden is great for it's low cost, but 1password definitely wins out as it is more seamless and has a couple of more features that make sense for me. Fantastic deal, sign up without hesitation!

I have been using Bitwarden for years when I used to pay for a few and I'm satisfied.

It's a good deal, for the first year. New users just know if you get hooked, $60 a year after.
