Looks so

From manual:
SINGLE CUP/SMALLER VOLUMES (LESS THAN 4 CUPS, 20OZ) 1. Your Breville Precision Brewer will recognize when the brewer has less than 4 cups (20oz) of water & will adjust the brew settings, automatically, to make the best possible tasting coffee. Fill your cup with fresh cold water and then pour it into the water tank, ensuring the water level stays below the SINGLE CUP line.

I've had the stainless steel carafe version for about 4 years and use it every single day. I don't know if I'd want a glass carafe personally.

Had this for quite awhile now. It is often compared against the technivorm moccamaster in reviews. This one has less plastic surfaces compared to Technivorm.

Here's my take on this: if you make single serve(4 cup line) , ensure that the water is not cold from your fridge/filter when you load it into the reservoir. It heats up but it also adjusts the temp to where it's safe to drink and it is too cold for me. I've not had issues with room temp water. Works even better when you make more than the 4 cup line.

Same here. The steel one doesn't have a carafe warmer, but the coffee stays hot for several hours. Not sure if the glass one has a warmer. If not, I doubt the coffee would stay as hot as the steel carafe

Almost all coffee makers use a coil boiler using the boil pressure as means of delivering water. Best consistent quality brew is done through Thermo block (like espresso machine) and pump that this machine has. I ran A/B of this against Ninja Hot and Cold that also has Thermo block and pump. Very similar full pot quality. Breville made inferior cup or travel mug I think because it achieves #4 cone brew using a removable adapter inside the large flat bottom basket. It advantage over Ninja is temp control. Ninja meters water based on setting size and strength; Breville brews all of what's in the tank, requires exact refill for each brew. Ninja makes 5 size cup/pot 4 strengths and cold brew. But Breville is good machine.

Extremely! Brew temperature, bloom time, flow rate. Very good 👍.
