Have the chef knife and a few others with the sharpener and very happy with them. The smaller knives do indeed work in the sharpener.

I only have the Ninja blender/food processor. The Food processor gets used several times a week, and has for the last 4 or 5 years, and it hasn't had any issues, despite taking a beating. Can't say anything about their other items, though.

These pull through sharpeners will remove much steel in a hurry, all the while not getting your knifes very sharp, and quickly give your knives a "recurve" . Now Especially if you cook often and like VERY sharp knives, buy knives that are 60+ HRC. And either learn how to use wetstones, or take your knives to a professional sharpener when you feel you want VERY sharp again. Harder steel holds a sharp edge much longer.

You don't need to sharpen your knives very often. Just get a $6 chef's steel and spend 15 seconds honing them every now and then, and they'll cut very well.

So much knife snobbery here. I've been using a cheap Cuisinart knife set for almost 20 years with only a cheap pull thru sharpener and being washed exclusively in the dishwasher. Guess what? It cuts through things just fine. If you're a professional chef or knife collector that uses whetstones or expensive sharpening systems, these are clearly not for you. If you are someone that wants a general knife set that works well, is easy to sharpen, and won't break the bank, these are great.

These are cheap and I am sure they work fine.

I have a block of knives that I am sure I got from a post on slickdeals 14 years ago. Never sharpened them. No rust, no bending, and they are still as sharp as day 1.

I know I didn't pay much for them, and they have been great. Probably a complete different company now.

I've had this set or one of the other models for 2 or 3 years now. I like them, and the sharpener keeps them sharp. I just don't like how the handle to the sharpener limits where you can place it.

Other than that I'm happy with them and I cook a lot.

I'm a Ninja Stan. Have their Foodi and blender combo and they've all been stalwart contributors to my kitchen. I trust all Ninja products from my and my families interactions. Been super curious about these knives, but am too cheap to pay $200. Tempted at this price, but still a bit rich for my cheap self.

They sell a 3 pack with a Chef, santoku, and pairing knife. It's all you need.

They are very sharp and you can buy a sharpener separate.
