it was discussed in the previously posted deal - these are mostly heavily used demo units with missing accessories and oled burn in.

Confirmed. I gambled and lost. My "fair" item only came with keyboard, no other accessories. And it had 10,000 hours of use; i.e. was powered on for 14 months. Cosmetically, it was in a very good shape. I returned it.

BB Customer Service agreed that it's bad the system does not differentiate/identify demo items from true customer returns/open box.

Took 3 tries to get a non demo unit. Look for stores with more than 1 unit available.

I was about to order one, after doing a bit of a digging, this turns out to be the 2024 model and and that 16gb ram is scaring me off.
Hopefully a similar deal with a 2025 model will come up soon.

Mine was missing all accessories. It would cost over $350 to replace them. Also had over 8,000 hours of use. Hardly an "open box". More like "heavily used and abused". Almost all of these are in store demo units that have been beat up by everyone passing by. Also, there really isn't a use for a laptop like this. Trust me. Really. I found myself using it with the keyboard docked to the second screen constantly. It's just a gimmick.

I'm in the market for a laptop and checked out an open box - excellent for pickup tomorrow. Hopefully it's a good unit if not I'll return.

How does this compare to the Zenbook Duo? I've read bad things about Asus Support even with their extended care program.

I was looking at the 2025 Model to but think that 2k is too much for a laptop.

Might go to a refurbished Omni book.
