Port out to the free month of US Mobile for a day and then go back to Visible with a new email address.

Unless it's changed recently the speeds are capped at 5 (basic) / 10 (plus) /15 (plus pro) Mbps for the three plans. But it's unlimited at those speeds, they don't slow you down after x GB of hotspot usage.

Community Reviews

Visible's cheapest plan is a low-cost way to get Verizon network service, unlimited data, and hotspot, with the higher tiers adding faster priority data and watch support. The strongest upside is value, especially for Fios customers who can cut the bill further, and several reports say setup and porting can be quick. The main cautions are area dependent performance, with some congested spots, airports, and older phones causing slow speeds or dropped calls, and the $19 plan is often described as capped around 5 Mbps with 480p video. It is a flexible, no contract option if your local coverage is solid.

Based on past history, will Visible offer this again before next Black Friday?

Couldn't find the info on their site.. recently signed up for google fi during their promo offer, it's going fine but I find that after 30gb of data usage, the data becomes borderline unusable and slows to a crawl.

How does visible handle this? Does it slow down to unusable speeds after a certain threshold?

Visible plans data do not throttle down to unusable speed but the base plan is always deprioritized, so you'll get 30-190 download depending location.

$205 if you get a referral from someone who already has Visible.

If you go through the Back market promo, it shows you get this discount for 3 years when you buy a refurbished phone.

That's the sad story of AT&T as well. DFW is their hub and has one of the worst signal strength for AT&T subscribers

I'm told it's only 1 month discount of $20 - thanks
Yes, that would be how their math went from $225 to $205.

I used the basic visible plan on a spare phone for a couple of months, and it offered all the essential services just like my T-Mobile line. When I came across the $225 for a year of their +Pro plan, I switched to it on my main line, canceled my spare line, and saved an additional $30 thanks to my Amex card. My service has been excellent everywhere I've needed it. The hotspot is significantly better, which is great for when I occasionally let my daughters use their iPads during long car rides. Also having service on my watch included is huge. I was only paying $25 a month on T-Mobile because of a grandfathered-in T-Mobile one military plan that I've had for about 10 years now. I have no regrets about switching. However, after the year is over, I might switch back to the family plan unless I can find a deal for $30 or less a month since I can still get my line on t-mobile for $30 a month.

Do I need to be committed to 26 months or can be port out at any time?
No commitment. Great referral program and even qualifies for $15 Fios discount. So effectively $4 a month for unlimited Verizon. And that's without inner circle program and referrals. Can recommend enough I'd share my code but recently found out that's against the rules.

Can this double dip with party pay for addl 5 off? Or is that gone.Do you know if you can upgrade for $6 more from the cheap plan if we find it too slow?
For the Switch 26 deal you can't move unless you cancel and reup but 1/6/26. I currently have 2 lines. A $19 and a $26. But I find the $19 to be plenty. Unless. You need to watch Netflix in 4k.

In the $19 ($25) plan, how is the quality on FaceTime calls on iPhone since it states "up to 480p video quality"?
Been great for me. I have 2 lines a $19 and a $26. I think you will find $19 more than fine.
