Many people have locked phones only because they have not asked to get it unlocked. So they FIRST need to get their phone unlocked. Then you can DEMAND the port out pin and account number.
Visisble offers three HOTSPOT speeds... 5mb/s; 10mb/s and 15 mb/s. So it really does not make too much sense when you can usually get dedicated internet for that speed.
But if you live alone, perhaps you don't need dedicated internet... if you had their top tier plan. 15MB/s should be fast enough to stream movies... and OK, your internet will be slow but not deathly slow. Just don't download BolderGate 3, since it is 130GB file.
AND there are unethical ways to bypass the hotspot speed. I have tried PdaNet+ but there is NetShare or EasyTether and others. And they do not always work.
And I forgot about what I did and I went from Mint to Visisble. Well... sure enough when I switched to Visible, I am completely stuck on 4GB LTE...LOL....
To make matters worse, I have a google pixel 8 pro and VISIBLE eliminates the settings where you can choose which networks you want to be able to access. So I called Visible and they were ABSOLUTELY NO HELP AT ALL!!!! They could not understand anything and claimed everything was OK and I just am at a spot with no 5G... so i experienced no 5G for two weeks and I went EVERYWHERE... And VISIBLE WAS NO HELP AT ALL!!!!
So I started doing my own research and remember that you can access certain subsystems within you phone through a number (usually includes pounds and stars). And I finally figured out how to access that subsystem which Visible disables (completely normal that they disable it... per the internet) and I was FINALY ABLE TO SWITCH TO ALL NETWORKS and now I get 5G. My Visible horror story
It is close but for me I think I like Visible better... the reason is that I like having unlimited hotspot more than fast hotspot that has a limit. When I was with Mint... there were a few times that I ran out of hotspot but I never ran out of hotspot with Visible.
I also find if you travel the world, Visible is better.
But really, I find both services very equal to each other. And I may or may not switch back to Mint... it is almost a wash for me due to the $15 per month saving I get with FIOS.

I was on their $35 plan and now discount disappeared. Do we need to move out or downgrade for lower plan?
