If I hadn't ordered the 77" C5 with soundbar, Grab speaker, and free install and mount for this price, I would have considered the 83" B5 at this price.

It may be that you cannot apply "EarlySavings" coupon if you have already used it. Did not work for me.

If you don't mind in screen size difference, C5 is far superior model without any doubt. Its LG's premium evo series, better processor, more brightness and glare control. On top of that the other bundle gives additional soundbar plus xboom bluetooth speaker plus wall mount. B5 is LGs entry model OLED series. C5 bundle is more value without doubt if you are fine with little smaller display size.

We have been watching 85" lcd for 4yrs now. If anything we were thinking 98, so not sure how downgrade to 77 will feel. No rush.

Good luck. I placed my order back on April 8th for the 77inch G5. At the time showed schedule delivery of October 9th for the Bluetooth Speaker, October 14th for the TV, and October 17th for the Soundbar. On October 10th I received the Bluetooth Speaker. Then received the Tracking info only after it was already delivered. Then October 12th I received a text saying my order is currently in back-order status and going to be rescheduled for October 29th. Which I'm assuming is the Soundbar. Because I did notice on the website if you go to the page for the Soundbar it says Backorder. But if you click on that it adds to cart and says ready to ship. Now I'm getting text from LX Pantos saying that it's ready to ship. Yet it will only let me reschedule delivery for November 3rd at the earliest. Yet the LG website right now says order for Delivery on October 24th. And yet here we are 4 days passed the delivery date of October 14th that I was given 10 days ago when I placed the order.

If the 5 series tvs are anything like the 4 series were, then for only the 83" panel, not any of the other sizes, the B4 was very close in performance to the C4.

Sounds like a complete cluster fxxx. One of the many horror stories I've heard from buyers via the partner stores. Finding a good deal in B&M, buying it and throwing it into the back of your pickup is great. You enjoy the TV that night. And if you don't have a pickup (which I thought everyone has one since they are the trendy thing to have if you're a suburban male) then Home Depot rents trucks and vans so for about $50 in rental fees you can take it home yourself. Most people really don't need a pickup so renting is a good option.

Most deliveries are fine. Sometimes there are hiccups. You will never find a better deal at a retail store compared to LG direct. I got 30% back on my purchase of a 65" C5 using a cashback site. Retail cannot beat that EVER.
