Thanks, grabbed two as I've been wanting to try these out to replace a Asus mesh system.

/edit: I know this is not a 'mesh' system, I'm replacing the mesh system to use one of these as a router and one as an AP.

They don't. I have two and they're great, but not mesh.

Amazing. Replaced my MT3000. The speed went from 50mbp to 300mbp. Impressed. Also the coverage is amazing. Full bar at bedroom. No more need for multiple glinet as extender.

GLINET has the best router firmware on the market. A bit better than Asus and loads better than nearly every other brand (outside of pro-sumer like Unifi/Ubiquiti) . I highly recommend paying a bit extra . Reliable updates, expansive add-on library, comprehensive firewall and VPN settings.

Think this is a worthy upgrade from a TP Link 1750 A7?

Been staring at this and the Flint 1 for a long time

1000% agreed. I've been through several, and GLi is leaps and bounds above everyone else. And they've refreshed their UI at least 4 times since 2017. Like completely overhauled.

Support is also crazy responsive on their forums and help from devs as well as customers.

I have 5 devices, from travel routers to dedicated vpn device, to the one in OP.

I just bought this and returned it. Spent some time trying to get it to work before I called Xfinity and spoke to a tech person for 1 1/2 hours being promised they'd get it to work only for them to tell me it's not compatible which was my first question to them. Then they helped me set up my old router and had the nerve to ask if they solved my problem.

I got this about a month ago for $125 to replace two Asus routers in mesh and a mini PC that I used as a pie hole. I wish I would have got it sooner this router is truly amazing. It has really great range, fast VPN with wire guard support, and adguard home built-in. I also have my cable modem and a T-Mobile 5G gateway as backup Internet connected to this thing. I'm debating buying another one at this price to set up as an access point but I really don't need two routers anymore.

Love this router, have had it for over a year. Adguard, VPN support built in, etc. Latest couple of firmware versions have been solid, also supports OpenWRT if you want to flash open source firmware.

This is a great wifi router for OpenWrt. I got it from Aliexpress for a little bit cheaper than this 7 months ago, flashed it with the official OpenWrt firmware, and replaced my old Google nest wifi router. It's been much more stable and reliable, and I'm very happy with it. I recommend it to anyone who wants to break free from proprietary firmware and take back their privacy and freedom.
