Good quality and very comfy. Just make sure you understand how small it is before pulling the trigger.

What is the use case of such a *narrow* backpack? It can't even fit a 15" laptop, and doesn't fully take advantage of the space as a personal item on airplane

It's a daypack. Throw in a hydration pack and some clothes if it gets chilly on daytrips.

You can't imagine a scenario where one might want a backpack but not one so big that it can fit a 15" laptop and/or isn't headed to an airport?

My thought is that it is specifically for hiking, close quarters, tight spaces, avoiding brush or getting snagged. Probably efficient for that purpose. I like the idea of taking it with me inside of another checked bag, and then using it once you get to your destination. No space for a laptop could be good - perhaps it would indicate no electronics to steal?

I throw my phone wallet an water bottle in them an attach keys. I often keep another bigger shopping bag or 2 inside incase I decide to go to the store.

During hiking I take a tactical bag cause it'll survive nature.

Paid $19. Awesome addition for a compact backpack. I have larger LBT and other packs. Sometimes you don't want to carry all that, or even for smaller people who don't want to carry all that, this is a great option. My laptop fits outside the tablet pouch, but I would probably use this more when I don't need a laptop with me.

On a bike, hiking, sight seeing in a crowded area, etc a thin backpack (even if thicker) can be easier to deal with vs (functionally) making yourself wider. Especially if you are slender a lot of average size packs can be wider than you.

FWIW, my work laptop is a 14", roughly 8.5" x 13". So should fit inside this bag, just not in the tablet pocket.

Regardless, Options = Good

I'm just glad this deal appears dead so I don't have to add another backpack to the collection Wink
