If you don't already use those, the green is probably the better choice, like a 2-in-1 shampoo if you don't use already use fancy conditioner.

Optimum No Rinse is a versatile rinseless wash that works especially well for garage washing, winter salt cleanup, and quick detailer style use. The blue formula is the classic version without carnauba wax, while the green adds wax for a little extra protection. It mixes at about 1 ounce per gallon, uses very little water, and can be stretched into dozens of washes. The main caution is that heavy grime still benefits from a pre rinse or extra agitation, and the waxed version can leave buildup if used every wash.
The product can be diluted for spray-bottle use with a wash mitt or microfiber towels for multiple detailing tasks.
The low-suds formula can encapsulate dirt while protecting paint, which helps reduce scratching during wipe-down.
The green variant can add carnauba wax for a monthly protectant wash routine.
The dilution guidance suggests the gallon can stretch to roughly sixty-plus washes for regular rinseless use.
The blue and green versions target different needs, and ceramic or graphene coating users may prefer classic ONR without carnauba wax.
No-rinse use works best on already mostly clean vehicles, while heavier dust or dirt may require extra steps.
The product may feel low-lubricity during wiping, so it requires careful saturation and light pressure to avoid marring.
Using a clean-and-wax product every wash can lead to waxy residue buildup on paint over time.

why would you choose blue over green?
Ideally, you'd want to alternate between blue and green, but realistically you should just purchase the blue and then buy a separate wax / protectant product.

for me it comes down to versatility. I can put blue in a spray bottle and use it for pretty much anything. Quick detailer, wiping the vinyl seats, dashboard, infotainment, countertops, etc. I don't need to leave an extra layer of film on everything. I also don't need to spray "wax" my car that often. For those 2-4 times a year I can just real quickly spray some sio2 before or after drying the car off.
