Seriously considering this. Will watch the reviews on YouTube first. There are a few. Maybe wait and see what people here think as well

Also top speed is just 25 km? That is 15 mph. That would be a hard pass if true.

Wow, dual 750. Put pedals on motorbike and let kids go wild on a bicycle without a license. Advertise 15mph limit when it'll easily do way more.

Video reviews of Duotts ebikes are easy to find.

What may be harder to find is that if you like to periodically pedal, either for economic benefit or exercise; the S26 is the better option.

There are, indeed, increasing restrictions across the US in legislating ebikes. There are more and more injuries being reported, as many of these ebikes can be easily configure to go faster than advertised.

etrikes, however...

Purchased this last time and very happy with it. Heavy and stable ride. 28mph easy even with only one motor used. My son loves it and rides it more than me. It's no surron so less trouble from last enforcement.

I have this bike and no that is not correct, top speed is 31mph, you dobhave to put a code in order to change top speed in the secret menu.

I also purchase this one, question for you. Can you check when the bike is standing, grab the rear tire and hold the bike from the frame or seat and try to move the rear tire from side to side and see is you have movement where the rear frame connects to the front frame at the pedal area. And is the movement a lot or some or none at all, mine moves from side to side quiet a bit.

Can you purposely limit it to one motor so you can go farther?

Yes. Watch the many youtube reviews. You have to manually turn on the second motor by holding down the + button. Most of the time the reviewers used only the back motor and they said it was enough,

I Have the S26 Good Bike so far even though one of the Spokes was broken, Most likely happened during shipping Great Bike, Not fast off the Line But it picks up speed quickly after it hits 5 MPH or so. 35 MPH unlocked. 19+ Miles using both motors 250 rider. I like it things to change are Seat, Fenders!

Well, that depends. First off, is it legal to ride anywhere that would require a license? Motocross tracks don't need licenses usually, along with other private property. So irrelevant there.

Roads? Well, it has more than the legal limit of 750W of motor on class 1/2/3 3bikes, so its not an ebike. If it goes more than 30mph in most regions its a motorcycle, less and its a moped. Motorcycles definitely require a VIN, registration, plates, taxes, helmet and license. Mopeds might need license, and/or VIN &registration. It doesn't have a VIN, so that's probably an issue.

So if you need to use it on roads, either step down to a legal e-bike, or step up to a legal motorcycle. Assuming you don't want a license, look at Class1 ebikes (no throttle, max 750W, max motor velocity 20mph); those are legal everywhere without a license. Some states do have restrictions on class 2 & 3 ebikes.
