Community Reviews
This DeWALT 20V Max kit is mainly a starter set for homeowners and light DIY, with a hammer drill, impact driver, circular saw, work light, batteries, charger, and ToughSystem box. The brushed tools are described as solid for occasional use, and the case and batteries add a lot of value at the price. The main issue is the listing confusion, with conflicting photos and descriptions about the drill model and whether the kit includes a grinder or flashlight. A practical pick if you want a basic platform and can verify the contents.

DCD785 has two-speed transmission that delivers 0-600 RPM and 0-2,000 RPM. (drill looks like it's not brushless)
DCF885 offers 1-handed loading for its 1/4 in. bit tips. (driver)
DCS393 with 6-1/2 in. carbide blade can cut 2x4's at a 45-degree angle in a single pass.
DCL040 is a bring flashlight to help illuminate your work area with an output of 110 lumens.
DS300 TOUGHSYSTEM 22 in. large tool box is heavy duty, waterproof and is stackable with all other TOUGHSYSTEM units for max profitability.
DCS570 - ease of use - bevel capacity up to 57 for increased versatility • DCS570 - 100 crosscuts in 2 x 4 (pine)

I think I'd value this set $250-$270-ish range. If you already have 20V Dewalt tool, it's likely NONE of these will be an upgrade [enough to justify].
ALL of the motors are brushed, NOT brushless.
DCD785 1/2" hammer drill
DCF885 1/4" impact driver
DCS393 6.5" circuclar saw
DCL040 light
2ah battery
4ah battery
DCB112 single stage, 2 amp charger
TOUGHSYSTEM 1.0 toolbox (can connect with TOUGHSYSTEM2.0 without adapter)
This could be a good set for someone starting their tool journey with the idea that they're not going to be using it heavily. Anyone looking to use this stuff often I would recommend going brushless.
