The Agravic Speed Ultra (ASU) has many reported issues with the upper and platform: inconsistent sizing, heel slip, heel blistering, intrusive arch support, arch blistering, rear foot instability, short tongue.

Some of these issues might be addressed in version 2 of the AUS but it's still a shoe best fitted to high arched feet. The midfoot of the ASU and ASU2 remain narrow waisted. The latest trail super shoe alternatives from HOKA, Brooks, and ON have more sensible platforms.

This is generally considered to be one of the best racing trail shoes around. It's not for every day trail running though -- it has a very soft midsole and a very minimal upper.
