Is the OP price incorrect? This would cost $90 total ($55 for signup/first month + $35 for second month)?
Edit/Addition for future readers (who don't go past the first page):
OP price is correct if you want the phone to use on ST the final cost is just the 1-month plan ($55). My comment about the final price being higher, was for this phone to be unlocked, which would involve purchasing one additional month of service, which would not necessarily need to be the Gold Unlimited plan.
5G Modem.
8GB ram / 128GB rom
OIS on main camera.
5000 mah battery.
QI charging.
SD card slot.
Headphone jack.
IP68 resistance.
This beats out the S25 Ultra and the iPhone 17 pro max in terms of features... for less than $100 each.

This Moto G Stylus 5G 2025 deal stands out for a feature packed budget phone, with OLED display, IP68 water resistance, 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, microSD expansion, headphone jack, wireless charging, and a 5000mAh battery. The phone is also praised for snappy performance, good face unlock, and solid value once it unlocks. The main catch is the service requirement, since unlocking depends on 60 days of paid service and the plan math can change with autopay, taxes, and plan downgrades. A few reports also flag battery drain, bloatware, and occasional activation or shipping hiccups, making it a strong value if the carrier terms fit your plan.
The unlock process can work after paying two months of service, and the phone may unlock automatically around the 60-day mark.
The 2025 Moto G Stylus 5G model includes waterproofing and a feature set that supports microSD storage and a headphone jack.
Battery drain concerns are not universal, and some owners report good standby consumption after several days.
The phone can be used as a temporary travel device, including for international trips where a separate burner setup helps.
Unlocking can require 60 days of paid active service, and the total cost can rise when you include the second month plus taxes.
Plan and SIM management can be risky, since switching SIMs or downgrading plans can jeopardize unlock timing and account eligibility.
Battery life complaints exist for the 2025 model, and waiting for a newer generation may be a safer bet.
Activation and fulfillment can be unreliable, including cases where activation fails for days or orders do not ship promptly.

So I don't think "not available on family plans" was enforced back on 4/15/2025. I wonder if they are enforcing it now though?
I guess I'll wait and see if they end up shipping the phone or cancelling the order.
P.S. Forgot to mention the 2025 has OLED display vs LCD on the 2023 models. That's probably the biggest upgrade.
