Some Dickies info if you're interested. They were bought out some years back. They had a cost and quality cutting line sold in WalMart. I see from the amazon pics these are even worse. If you know something old called Dickies beware these are crap. Look at the thin wrinkly pics from customers with seams that easily tear out and are two sizes small. I forget the model number that is still ok.
Edit: Some reviewers claim they are fake. Three things point to that. Amazon sells fakes. The quality and sizes being smaller than claimed. The one review has tags that don't even match with sizes on label and sewn tags. If you ever had to identify fake clothing these are tells. It can go down to even stitching zippers and buttons.

I appreciate a gentle reminder that we should be a little cognizant of what's going in and on our bodies. Passing on this deal, don't need cheapo pants anyways.

The part about Oeko-Tex certification is valid and definitely good to consider.
It doesn't change the fact that the polyester fabrics are destructive pollutants to our local environments and release their fiber content as runoff when washing.
Poly is non-breathable and using it as a clothing choice more than just sporadically under the marketed guise of "moisture wicking" is more misdirection employed by marketers to promote their use.
Utilizing these garbage fabrics is just a cheap manufacturing shortcut that we need to minimize or begin to do away with especially when so many other more sustainable options are present.

Breathability depends on the combination of material, weight, and weave of the fabric.

I don't care for the marketing gimmicks about "moisture wicking" that are often touted by the athleisure brands, either, but the fabric choices are for durability and stain resistance for this particular product, the same reason why your doctors and nurses uniforms are made of the same material.

Speaking of pollutants, all cotton fabrics may require more toxic dyes due to their colorfastness properties and the toxic additives you mentioned earlier are often used on 100% cotton fabrics as well. Producing jeans also requires a significant amount of water and dyes. Would you say these pants are more polluting than a pair of jeans? What about wool trousers that require dry cleaning with toxic chemicals?
You get the idea. If we start discussing pollution, this conversation could go on indefinitely. Often, we're simply swapping one pollutant for another.

Poisonous? How?
All plastic clothes are poisonous through the microplastics and chemicals and even frequency. I didn't find this out till I wore a polyester shirt that broke me out.

I just seem to have a problem with Dickies pants. Even in the model photos they show, the model looks like a prison guard from a film made in the 80s. That's not a great look.

High rise pants are awesome. Great for people who have a crotch.
