I Literally just the other day bought 100' of this same stuff knockoff brand (Ivrich) installed it yesterday and it looks great on Amazon for $35. You can change colors from either included remote or app and its cuttable. I hardly think these Govee brand lights are worth anywhere near 5x the cost! lol

I bought govee for my TV backlight strip, and it didnt even last couple of months. Lights flickering randomly and finally I gave up on this. Govee being expensive, I thought is better quality, but maybe overpriced stuff.

If we are spending for installation, we might as well get something that lasts longer without quality issues.
I'd love to say "I avoid Chinese political and child slave labor like the plague..." but alas... gina has her fingers in everything right now. So now I just try to buy what I find to be the best quality Chinese political and child slave labor products I can.

Maybe you got a batch made by a kid who was having a bad day. Sometimes those political indoctrination...errr....political reeducation and remediation camps can be a yotch...
I've also bought a few Govee items without an issue, however Costco has a 100ft set for $170. Obvious advantage is their return warranty should/when they fail. I went this route instead.
