One thing that I've noticed lately, with hyperinflation, is that if you aren't grinding your beans, you are losing a shtload of money. You can get back to 30-40 cents an ounce regularly. Whole bean across the board ends up being cheaper and on sale more often.
It's worth the hit to pick up a burr grinder from capresso or baratza or the like for $60-$100. Ebay has cheap finds, and the parts that can wear out/break cost next to nothing on the manufacturer's website.
One last thing, if you have a cheap coffee maker with a tiny water head, you are losing money. If you see half the grounds on the outer rim pillowing up, that's coffee you pissed away. I picked up a OXO 9 cup off ebay for $100 last week, and I used alot less coffee with better results.
Sorry for the TMI, but I'm currently buzzing on this coffee right now.

EDIT
I guess it is part of the sale (20% instead of 25% off. Not as good of a final price tho):

It is on the product page, but not applying to purchase. Just the usual 5%.
Wondering if I and others who can't get the discount are flagged for canceling multiple subscriptions in the past.
p.s. I checked and I did not subscribe for any Peet's in the past - so the first time order discount should still apply.
thanks OP, big bang is my favorite Peets roast and it hardly ever gets this low.
