You sign up for the plan first, then you download their Android or iOS apps. The apps will guide you through the eSIM setup. On Android, it's seamless. On iOS, you just have to switch back and forth between the iOS app and the iOS Settings page.

You can sign up on the web, then download their Android or iOS apps to finish the eSIM setup from the app. It's seamless on Android. On iOS, you just have to follow the in-app instructions to finish the eSIM setup from the iOS Settings page.

Mint and Metro are better imo. With Google fi once you hit your data allotment you're slowed to dial up Internet speeds and it's unusable. On Metro or Mint it's just deprioritized which never matters in my area. Visible or TW are the best deals right now imo for the unlimited hotspot. TW gives free Disney + too on the $30 byod plan.

Unfortunately there are no deals for their Premium plan, which is what you'd need for data abroad.

I'm talking about the unlimited essential line. https://support.google.com/fi/ans...1254?hl=en

It says no hotspot tethering capability.
$10/gig is also ridiculously high coming from Germany. had 17 gig / month via simon for €7.99

I'd search up user experiences with TW first - we had a total nightmare trying to port a line over and customer service is completely useless. The good thing with Fi is (well used to be anyways, may have changed by now) they had decent agent support over the phone. All the companies can be fine as long as everything works, but good luck when it doesn't. As much as I hate having to pay the premium - having a corporate store for a major carrier close by helps a lot when you depend on your phone for business.

You do get $10 off premium plan for 14 months if you sign up for Fi and when purchasing a pixel 10
"Get $350 off now, plus $450 back over 24 monthly bill credits, on a Google Pixel 10 Pro purchase from fi.google.com. Additionally, get $240 back over 24 months via $10/mo bill credits when you sign up and stay active on the Unlimited Premium plan" offer ends Nov 20.
You'll also receive 1 year of advance AI $239 value but I'd rather have a discount bundle off the watch 4.
