Only thing I'll note is that this is the non over clocked version. (I've been looking for this card for a while).

Decent deal stacked with the Amex $25 off BestBuy offer. Worth an upgrade from the 6700xt?

Should be a semi decent bump in base performance, much better ray tracing and FSR 4 support

Great question - pretty much nothing - just use it for productivity, content creation. Occasionally I play something like EU4 (EU5 is coming in a few weeks). Those kind of games are more CPU intensive then GPU intensive. More-so the 6700xt is the only non-upgraded part left in my PC, seems like it's time for an upgraded lol. This 9060xt would be ~$335 after the bestbuy credit and I can sell my 6700xt for $200-235, so a pretty cheap upgrade.

What's a better deal the 5060 TI or this? I feel the Nvidia is better optimized for most games besides AMD. I know they're getting better but still.

Honestly the benchmarks show it's not really that much faster than the 8gb model and that one is way cheaper.
"Faster" just depends on the bottleneck. More memory does nothing, but if you run out there's a serious performance penalty. So yeah, if you play older games with lower res tiles or at 1080 on low settings, there will be no difference between the 8gb and 16gb version. If you play at 1440 on medium, then there definitely will be a significant difference in modern games.

More and more games are pushing the limits and exceeding 8gb of vram at maxed out 1080p. More power to people ok with that, but it is a serious problem for modern gamers. 8gb just isnt enough anymore. Im sure a lot of people will argue that just because they are bored, but there is no denying it.

This is an overclocked GPU. The model number is RX-96TS316BR. XFX's product webpage for that model number show it's factory overclocked: https://www.xfxforce.com/shop/xfx...ion-16gb-3

The base clock and boost clock specs listed on the Best Buy product page also confirm it's overclocked.

There are two versions on the bestbuy website. The one they list as OC has a higher base clock than the one in this thread.

The XFX Swift 9060 XT models listed on the Best Buy website are the 8GB and 16GB models. Both models are factory overclocked and have the exact same overclocked base and boost frequencies. All Swift models are overclocked. XFX doesn't make a non-overclocked Swift model. Look at the XFX website link I provided to confirm that fact.

As I detailed in my original reply, compare the model number in the Best Buy link posted by the OP to the XFX product page the link I provided. They are the exact same model number. The BB product page leaves out "OC" in the product title, but it's clearly an overclocked model. The specs on the BB product page itself state it has a base clock of 1900 MHz and a boost clock of 3.32 MHz. Those are factory overclocked numbers.

I have a 5600x/5700xt/32GB DDR4 am4 system that I'm trying to get to last another couple years before I build an entirely new PC. Do y'all think buying something like this is a good way to make that happen? Seems like it would be a noticeable bump in performance over a 5700xt and wouldn't be bottlenecked too much by the older proc and RAM. And $350 is much easier to swallow than the $600-700 price range of the next tier of GPU's.
