I've been buying knockoff brand cookies lately. Not quite Oreos but Aldi has some that are very close without the markup.

The Aldi "Benton's" variety is pretty good! I've tried other brands and they didn't seem to be as close to Oreos in flavor. I'm open to suggestions for other brands to try as well.

That's good to know, will try them. I have bought the generics at Walmart and Kroger and they aren't close

The problem with Aldi/Benton cookies is not the taste.. they're decent, but not as good as the brand names. The prices have jumped significantly over the past few years. What used to be $1.39 bargain is now $2.89 and much less attractive. For the size of this Oreo pack, it's a very good deal ✌️😀

yes, it's the low end of price range, unless you settle for generic brands.
orea will have a firmer cookie (probably more salt&sugar) than generics.

Party size? Maybe for a party of 1.

Also get out of here with that generics nonsense. Why even eat cookies if you're going to subject yourself to that. Someone signed up for oreos at my kids holiday party and brought in knock-offs. They were nasty. I signed up for the other package of oreos and brought in the real deal. Night and day difference. The signup sheet said 'Oreos' Karen, not 'chocolate cookies with cream centers.' I know how much that school costs. There is no excuse.
