The lowest "weight" is 20lbs which is probably too much for someone who is not into bodybuilding.

Not true. You can stand on these and do squats. Bicep curls, wrap the band around the leg of a bed and then do seated rows. While twenty pounds may be a lot for some exercises, there's plenty of utility to be had if you know what you are doing or ask for help

Yeah, most people will do biceps curl with 20lbs. C'mon.
