Note that the USB-C ports max out at 15 Watts which is frankly terrible.

Is there a better option? I've been trying to find one.

Not really, if you're using to charge overnight.

If it's for bedroom I don't mind as it's overnight charge. Would be great if someone could find an alternate with higher charging at this price

I'd be careful of generic ones that are not UL certified

Non UL certified means no go for me. Its just never worth saving the $$. Buy UL certified only if you care about your safety.

It is ETL listed. Not quite as good as UL listed, but I haven't heard that ETL listed means this is a hazardous device. If anyone has any safety info on this device please share.

I'm curious why you assert ETL is not as good as UL? ETL is a NRTL just like UL or TUV, CSA, etc. All test against some standard and are equally recognized test houses. Having personally used ETL, UL, TUV, etc for certifications they all test against the same appropriate standards. They are interchangeable, in our case, it comes down to scheduling.

I prefer the AddTam version, which is identical to this, but has six outlets instead of five for a dollar more.

consider of the heat issue, slower is safer for these kinds of product.

It's a similar take people have with PSA vs CGC, BGS, and SGC in card grading. Some people strongly assert that PSA is the only option being the most expensive and slowest for scheduling. Even though they all complete similar grading processes. Prestige and trust formed gives a bias and understandable with electronics a paranoia since if a card is grading bad just regrade if your electronic is tested poorly you have much bigger problems.
