The Fool has returned to a realm in chaos.
As Generasi recovers from the wrath of a demon knight, Alex Roth travels to Thameland to uncover the mysteries of the Ravener. He and his friends have grown in power, ready to take on any threat lurking in the hills of Greymoor, where their university mounts their expedition.
But some things await Alex that no amount of training can counter.
For soon, the Heroes of Thameland will be reunited with the Fool.
And his secrets are on the line.
Book four of the best-selling series. Continue your fantastical journey into a coming-of-age magic-academy fantasy with a weak-to-strong progression into power, a setting inspired by D&D, detailed world building and magical science, action, comedy, slice-of-life, and GameLit elements.

The real problem here is that audible wants to sell you the rest of the series at full >$20 price (of which audible takes upwards of 75%) while cherry picking a single book for $4. And I really don't think book 4 is a good place to "jump in", as it is where he leaves his "happy place" (school) to go back home to defend it. I can't even thumb up it, unless you already finished book 3 of the series or at least have it available. And that's not trying to figure out how much DRM audible slathers on (I dumped prime, so who knows).

Having said that Libby is also great and my public library has about half of the books I might want to read available for free, usually after a wait of a couple of weeks for a copy to become available. For some reason my local government does not see a social benefit in providing litRPG for free, so I still use Audible a lot.
If the Audible DRM is making it difficult to enjoy your purchases, I recommend taking a look at OpenAudible.
