They used to have a reef safe logo on them, but I don't see one on the Amazon pics. There was a class action lawsuit filed in California in 2021 claiming that they were not reef safe. I don't know the outcome, but I see no claims of being reef safe on the Banana Boat web site or in the info on Amazon.

I don't know enough about it but I thought being Oxybenzone Free would elude to it being reef safe.

So these are sealed right due to the packaging and someone can't just open it and return it right? I know amazon accept returns for items but something like this, you have to open the packaging right? Since I assume this doesn't have a safety seal if you were to like open it at target at a store?

I truly do not trust an expiration date on sunscreen. I've used it 2 years expired and had no issues.
