i've had a 12 month unlimited plan since June or July of 2024. So far it works perfectly. I chose to use Verizon towers but you have other options as well pertaining to carriers.
They don't bug you, harass you, and the renewal process is automatic and straightforward. Thumbs up for USM!

Is T-Mobile also priority data? Seems like yes? I've used T-Mobile MVNOs before and they were awful but service directly from T-Mobile was the best we've had. Considering this.

Yes except Fi was Sprint/TMO which were merging. Now you can have any of the three as primary (warp (Verizon), lightspeed (TMO), dark star (ATT) and have the secondary as any of the other two. There is also teleport which means move from one MNO to another. Sometimes people move to say lightspeed before they go international because coverage is so broad and for say like Puerto Rico). When you come back from the trip go back to your main carrier.

Once we signup for new connection, within how many days should it be activated? My current prepaid plan ends by December 10. Can I buy this now and activate just before that date?

Man they keep on giving out good deals. I got stuck with the Dark Star (AT&T) deal back in April which is still OK but this is with any network. Makes me feel like I should swap off and only come back when they really give me something good like BOGO...

I too was able to do this. I had signed up initially for the 45$ 3 month welcome offer. I received an email for an extended welcome offer, which I was 1 month into. They honored the 199$ 12 month offer for me.
