Isn't the $19 Visible unlimited deal better than this if you are okay with the Verizon network? That works out to $227 a year (no fees) and is good for 26 months. An earlier post said this US Mobile deal works out to $270 after fees/taxes.

Edit - seems that earlier post was incorrect. It's $199 all in which handily beats the Visible deal.

I am pretty sure all modern US mobile plans include taxes/fees but I dont mind being corrected if wrong.

Yeah I was just going to say… I went all the way to checkout and the price stayed at $199 all in. Don't know what the other user was talking about when they said it came to $270.

It used Verizon tower if you pick warp plan. Only the premium plan gets you the data priority.
The exception is rural areas where Verizon has roaming agreements in place and you don't get a real Verizon signal. In those cases real Verizon contract plan will have actual service, US mobile will have no service.

In their defense, US mobile used to charge extra taxes/fees on the plans, but that was a couple of years ago now.

Also, I am surprised to find another person in Maine on here that has had an account on here for a long time. I didn't think there was anyone else or rather if there was they had just found the website in the last few years.

I been on US mobile for bit over 2 years now, here in lower Somerset County its been absolutely amazing. Even up in Northern Somerset county its been really good. Same with Northern NH too.

Cheers. Which network are you on? I'm guessing T-Mobile?

Warp/Verizon.

I tried out ATT/Darkstar as a secondary line for 2 months this past summer and it was nothing special. I did manage to use it to roam on US Cellular when it couldnt get a native ATT signal. This was up in Franklin county.

Do they offer Wi-Fi calling and if they do, would it work overseas to avoid roaming

Yes.

Make calls and send messages for the same price you pay at home anywhere in the world as long as you have WiFi calling.

Yes, you have 90 days to activate
I was just told by US Mobile chat that the discounted plan had to be activated by Oct 31st. Note that was if I did a free trial first; I had to convert by Oct 31st.

Just chatted again and was told 90 days if I just buy the plan without the free trial.

MVNO. Unique in that they offer all three companies' towers, so you can choose which one works best for you.
They also let you (for a fee) sign up to multiple of the towers at the same time so you can take advantage of whatever network is best at the moment.

Perfect timing as my Visible annual plan is about to expire. I went for the Premium plan instead for international data.

Can you all help me to understand which plans would make sense for me? I have 4 lines + cellular Apple Watch + cellular iPad on ATT. Rarely use hot spot or international anything. On the US Mobile site I did not see a way to chat with a person -- only a bot. Thanks!

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank PotusDeal

i've had a 12 month unlimited plan since June or July of 2024. So far it works perfectly. I chose to use Verizon towers but you have other options as well pertaining to carriers.
They don't bug you, harass you, and the renewal process is automatic and straightforward. Thumbs up for USM!

Any garbage fees for Illinois folks?
I don't know about yearly contract but I have been with them for years with family plans/monthly. We have 4 lines with $20/each total of $80 but with tax is $93/monthly.
