For those of you that were waiting for the ultra version of the 5 foot skeleton to come on clearance at Home Depot (or missed the non-ultra version) it did so today. The ultra version has fingers that can be posed while the non-ultra did not.

how do you get the eyes to come on with a timer(ie, 6-8 hours then off like most of these things usually have built in), etc, stupid that there is only an on and off switch.. are there any after market options to change this?

Unfortunately, no. (practically speaking)The lights are switch-based and powered by batteries. However if you are a good electrician, you can certainly start creating wire systems to power and run it on a timer. You would be remaking the entire system for those lights though. You would be better off getting a timer plug and some red lights yourself and then just popping it into the skeleton head, totally ignoring their built in light system. Again, an involved workaround but probably easier than remaking their system.
