Apple TV downloads occasionally drop frames. Disabling integrated graphics (Intel Arc) to force discrete (RTX 5070) locks to ~300 nits (brightness slider disabled).

This firmware relies on integrated graphics to control tandem OLED brightness. I thought this was the issue although still investigating:

"Frame skipping in the Windows Apple TV app is a widespread complaint (e.g., periodic stutters every 10-15 minutes), often tied to hardware acceleration mismatches, outdated drivers, or overlays rather than raw hardware power."

That's some really impressive specs actually, and on a Yoga.

For the past two weeks, the staff has been posting numerous Lenovo deals, and those deal had coupon of like 200-240, waiting for that.

I feel like this is the PC I have been waiting for - super bright OLED screen, maxed specs everywhere, just not a 5080/5090 but I don't think I care...I'm assuming build quality will be excellent?

Any student discounts?

Since I can wait, I'll buy one refurbished in May 2026 for $999(?). It doesn't look like this config is available anyway.

Thank you for the information, I just don't trust Intel graphics at this point and wonder if and for how long they will maintain their graphic drawers.
