Picked one up previously at this price and love it. Used it to get dust while cutting a new outlet opening, cleaning up the last bits of water in an aboveground pool and in the van. Very compact and handy to have.

After the hose clips are put onto the vacuum, the screw goes into the hose clip and then into the vacuum and after tightening the screw, the hose clip cannot fall off after the hose is put into the hose clip. That's the way mine worked.
