Large Language Models are large. It's right there in the name. I do think that 128GB makes more sense though, since this chip supports it and 96GB is still cramped for some of the larger models.

I am looking for the 128gb version and yes your post is correct but with one caveat.The platform being sold on is Amazon which has an amazing guarantee. Buying directly from seller, means you are literally at their mercy if ANYTHING goes wrong. Given some of the 1 star reviews of malfunction and defectives, its smart to consider a hedge using Amazon. I also saw the earlier deal but changed my mind when I realized, its possible I receive a junk unit with issues and have to try to claw back my money. Amazon keeps sellers more honest in order to sell on the platform.
